When I think of horror movies, the first things that come to mind are blood, gore, and cheesy effects. However, horror can be thought-provoking, filled with social commentary, and visually atmospheric. That’s why I chose these three films to include in a series of poster designs.  I was inspired by Saul Bass’ work and his use of sharp lines with negative space to create a unique relationship between shapes. These posters would be on display within a repertoire theater, such as the Alamo Drafthouse, as part of a film series.
